The latter, Historical Abstracts covers world history from 1450 to the present in over 2000 historical journals published in 50 languages, offering signed abstracts by specialists in the field. Section 3 covers Latin America and the Caribbean.

A microfiche set, ABEPI is a compilation of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American biographical information from biographical sources published between 1600 and 1950. The arrangement is alphabetical by name of individual. The Indice biográfico de España, Portugal e Iberoam&eacure;rica(Bobst REF1 DP58.I52) is an index to the first and second series of the ABEPI. It provides the user with direct access to the bibliographical source either in the original book form or in the microfiche version, giving the fiche number and the number of the frame on which the entry is to be found.
