Research Guides and Library Help
Link to Research Guides:
Research Guides, created and maintained by subject specialist librarians, contain lists of discipline-specific library resources. These guides point users to relevant databases, reference books, search strategies, and links to external scholarly resources.
1. Go to Research Guides and choose a broad subject area.
2. Navigate to your subject within the broad subject area, and find a Research Guide
3. Copy the Research Guide link and paste it into your Blackboard content area
Link to Tutorials:
Library tutorials provide general and specific help in using resources
1. Go to Library Tutorials
2. Select from the tutorials
3. Click on the Tutorial link, copy the link, and paste it into Blackboard where you want your students to access it.
Link to Ask-A-Librarian:
Students and faculty may call, email, or instant message reference librarians for research assistance.

Add contact information for your Subject Librarian or Archivist:
1. Find your Subject Librarian and and his or her email address to any area of Blackboard
Add your Subject Librarian as a course administrator:
Add your Subject Librarian as a course administrator. Contact your Subject Librarian and see how s/he can help add subject specific resources to your Blackboard course areas, or provide virtual research office hours.
1. Follow the ITS instructions on how to add an additional administrator to your Blackboard course.
